At High Speed Controls, we provide expert support for the XF-850 ultra-high-speed releasing valve, including troubleshooting, replacement, integration, calibration assistance, and system support.

Whether you need to replace an aging valve, diagnose a system issue, or ensure peak performance for a critical suppression application, our team is here to help.

What Is the Rapid Controls XF-850 Valve?

The XF-850 Valve is a pilot-operated hydraulic releasing valve engineered to replace older squib-operated valves with a safer, modern non-explosive actuation design. Built for ultra-high-speed discharge (UHSD) applications, the XF-850 is designed to respond in milliseconds when system protection cannot afford delays.

The valve uses a pilot water pressure system to hold pressure against the seat. When pilot pressure is lost, the piston assembly opens rapidly to discharge water and activate the suppression system.

Designed for dependable performance and easier maintenance, the two-piece brass body simplifies servicing while maintaining reliability in critical environments.

Key Features of the XF-850 Valve
